We STEWARD, God SUSTAINS

There is a natural tendency among men to have a sense of ownership, especially on things the Lord has placed in their stead. This is not necessarily a bad thing, to the extent that it informs our degree of faithful personal stewardship. The catch, however, is in the danger of what comes with a sense of ownership: the responsibility to sustain.

God knows we do not have a life of our own to sustain things we have not brought into being. For all that God has laid in your hands—visions, ambitions, assignments, opportunities, etc.—it is important to remember that you are not the sustainer, but a steward. Leave the cares and concerns of a sustainer to THE SUSTAINER, and embrace your sole responsibility of STEWARDSHIP.

His wisdom is for you to relinquish the pressure of trying to sustain that which only He can, and faithfully take care, manage, administer that which He has entrusted to you. For this cause, He has released a multiplied measure of grace to you.
