AFKA is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2020 with the aim of responding more keenly to the holistic needs of Persons living with spinal cord injury through rehabilitation and social support, advocacy and awareness creation, livelihood improvement for self-sustenance despite their injury, provision of wheelchairs, accessories and assistive devices. AFKA aims to reduce dep

endency beyond the provision of wheelchairs for Persons Living with Spinal Cord Injury by focusing on and enhancing their skill set and their abilities for self-dependency. AFKA intends to construct an all-inclusive rehabilitation facility that will supplement the efforts of the government, in line with its goal of having holistic interventions for persons living with spinal cord injuries (PSCI).
