Greetings Dear Esteem Comrades

Another beautiful Monday our Lord God has made. We praise him for this new day and week.

This week we start on a high note, with putting pressure on employers to sign our Recognition Agreement.

We encourage everyone to stay away from work, stay at home and use this valuable opportunity to do what pleases you. We must show the employer that we are equally important. Do not show the employer that you are desperate by hanging around your work place because "unapima hewa". This is a strike for God's sake and there's nothing like kupima hewa.

We shall be having our weekly Demos in Nairobi this coming Wednesday, as agreed in our last meeting, we expect each Branch to send at least 3 representatives. ALL Branches Secretaries and Chairpersons take this seriously. Branches bordering/near Nairobi, are encouraged to send more Comrades to the Demo, this includes Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu, Muranga, Nakuru, Kirinyaga. We need numbers and numbers MUST come from ourselves.

Demos are quite financial involving, therefore we must invest in this Demos by Contributing. We appreciate the Branches and individuals who stood by the Union through financial support, we encourage people to continue supporting.

We need money, money, money, which. Let's have that giving heart. Blessed is the hand that giveth than the one that taketh. Let's give for our Destiny.

Every MLO has a duty to campaign against class 8 drop outs, doing medical Laboratory tests. The law is on our side. Do not keep quiet and allow injustices to take place before your eyes. Let's learn to speak for ourselves. Tell these crooks off. If possible, call police on them, and make sure they are arrested. We must jealously guard what belongs to us. IT IS OUR DUTY TO DO SO.

As I end, I wish you a happy week ahead and encourage you to participate in the Unions Activities. DO NOT BE A FENCE SITTER.

Morning Comrades!! Today, We clock Day 40 of our national strike.
So far, so good we have controlled all situation rooms with ZERO RECORD OF FATIGUE!!
We have already entered the crucial stage... CLIMAX!! #
We should now get focused on a NON COMPROMISED RTWF that will address all our issues raised in our strike notice ...

COMRADES. We should rise up to the occasion and fight as if it is our last fight.
As agreed in our branch summit on Friday.. we are going to have our MEGA demonstrations on wesnday the 15th..
We call upon all medical laboratory professionals(GOK/MOH/FAITH BASED ,NGO , PRIVATE ,RETIRED AND NOT TIRED ,ALL MEDICAL LABORATORY LECTURERS,ALL MEDICAL LABORATORY STUDENTS in Kenya to assemble at Green Park wensday 0900HRS..
We should stop being fence sitters at the comfort of our homes and work stations when the government had decided to treat us as sons and daughters of a lesser God..
The employer has refused to listen and sit with us .we treat this as an ABUSE TO THE PROFESSION..!!
While the government is keen to conclude signing the CBA For KUCO and KNUN , ALL our grieverances have been ignored., We have Been denied a right to negotiate that is in accordance to article 54 of the labor relations act.
It's interesting to see the executive arm of government decide to use divide and rule in handling HUMAN RESOURCE FOR HEALTH

WE ARE NOT RELENTING ..
LETS KINDLY SACRIFICE TO RESTORE ORDER AND DIGINITY THAT THE PROFESSION DESERVES !!!

Kindly whip all members to contribute KSH 500 and remmit the same to our pay bill and retain a register of all the loyal members who sacrificed for the course !!!!isn't too much to ask...
N/B sustaining asuccesful strike all depends on financial muscles of aunion..
Any one refusing or ignoring to pay the KSH 500 is SUFFOCATING THE COURSE

Dear Esteem Comrades

Our strike enters day enters day Thirty Nine (40) today..

We appreciate your resilience, steadfastness, firmness and the support you have given us. Indeed history has been made and you are part of that history.

On 11th May 2024, we convened a meeting between the National Executive Council and the 47 Branch Executive Council which the meeting deliberated as follows.

1) We will not get what we want at the comfort of our houses and therefore there's need to get out on the streets and demand for our rights. It is in this regard that we agreed to hold a *MEGA DEMO* on *Wednesday 15th May 2024* starting at exactly *9.00am* . Every MLO, young or old is required to attend. We demand that colleagues from *NPHL* , *KTTA* who continues to give the strike a wide berth to come out in large numbers for this event. You will be equally beneficiaries of the outcome of the strike.This time we will want to know whether you for the Quack or you are for Union. If you are for the quack fail to attend this Demo

2) *ALL* *KNUMLO* Branches Shall Contribute and forward a minimum of *Ksh* . *10,000* , for the Demo. Branch Treasurer's to immediately start funds mobilization. Our Colleagues working with the national government shall have a Liason Officer to facilitate this fundraiser.

3) We shall have a follow up meeting on *Monday 13th May, 2024* . This time round we must get it right.

We want to encourage members across the country to remain United and only listen to the voice of the Union.

Let's come out strong and fight for our space

Solidarity greetings comrades,

As we edge towards victory, we'd like to appreciate you for your unwavering support in the course to fight for our rights and liberate this esteemed profession.
We also are very grateful for the brave and passionate acts of those who came out for the previous demos in nairobi. Its a sacrifice that we must all endeavour to pay if we desire not to continue being treated in disregard and as if we dont matter, we must make a strong resolve to be the captains of the change we desire, we are the lifeblood of our union and profession.
In this regard, Tuesday 16th all roads for MLOs leads to nairobi where we will be staging the mother of all demos, one that will reverberate across the length and breadth of the city, one that will make their hairs stand on end.
Let's all come out in large numbers (500+) and make our voice heard, we anticipate each branch to participate in sending or sponsoring atleast 10 members. Branch BECs take this seriously and make arrangements. At the assembly point we shall take a roll call to assess our strength.
We make a passionate appeal to all national establishments like the NPHL and KTTA to join us in this worthy course of freedom.
Let's publicise this message across all MLOs platforms
