We held our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) that brought together members to reflect on the Association's achievements, review key milestones, and chart the strategic direction for the years ahead.

Following the conclusion of the World Geothermal Congress 2026 in Calgary, the AGM also included discussions on preparations for the World Geothermal Congress 2029, which Kenya will proudly host.

As Kenya begins its journey toward hosting the global geothermal community in 2029, GAK remains committed to working with industry, government, academia, and development partners to ensure the Congress leaves a lasting legacy for the sector.
