Board Chairperson Proposes Continental
The Board Chairperson of Commitment to Community–Kenya, has revealed that the organization's next phase of growth could see its programs expand beyond Kenya to serve communities across Africa.

Speaking on the organization's long-term vision, Kariuki said he intends to present a proposal to the Board of Directors recommending the expansion of the across the continent.

He further indicated that, should the Board approve the proposal, discussions could also include reviewing the organization's name to better reflect its continental mandate, with the possibility of transitioning from Commitment to Community–Kenya to a name that fully embraces its Africa-wide mission.

The proposal is expected to form part of the agenda at the organization's upcoming Board of Directors meeting, where members will deliberate on the strategic direction and future growth of the organization.

Commitment to Community–Kenya CEO, Miss Alice Akinyi, today joined residents of Embakasi Central during the NGCDF Public Participation Forum convened by Area MP Hon. Mejjadonk.

The forum provided an important platform for members of the community to present priority development proposals, particularly in the education and security sectors, reaffirming the value of inclusive citizen participation in shaping local development.

During the engagement, Miss Akinyi applauded the community for actively contributing to the development agenda and emphasized the importance of collaboration between citizens, leaders, and civil society organizations in creating sustainable change.

She also officially invited residents to the upcoming launch of the , an initiative aimed at strengthening community participation, civic engagement, and collective action. An invitation was equally extended to Hon. Mejjadonk to grace the occasion and join stakeholders in advancing people-centered development.
