We are hoping to raise KES 950,000 to support our Tailoring Center Project, where women and girls will be trained to make reusable sanitary towels. This project will:
Provide sustainable menstrual products
Create income-generating skills for women
Keep girls in school
Restore dignity during menstruation
Menstrual poverty should never be the reason a girl misses school or a woman misses work.

Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day! Today as we reflect, we share with you the journey we've had in rural homabay over the years, though challenging, also fulfilling. We can proudly say that we have learnt, we have shared, we have supported, we have laughed, with our community of girls.
We have always been vocal about the prioritization of menstrual health and hygiene. Femme Spur has done it's best to support girls with hygiene products as well as equip them with accurate education. As we say, Menstrual health is Reproductive health and when prioritized, we have a generation of informed, empowered individuals who can make autonomous decisions about their bodies, break cycles of shame and drive equitable health outcomes across communities.
Henceforth as Femme Spur re-strategizes, we vow to be better and do better so that no rural girl is left behind.
