STEM Impact Center Kenya marked a defining moment for the green transition in Kenya as we were thrilled to host the Youth Climate Innovation Challenge (YCIC) recognition Ceremony at the National Climate Change Secretariat Resource Centre (NCCRC)- Nairobi, Kenya .

This wasn't just a ceremony; it was a convergence of young visionaries, government leaders, and development partners, all united by a single goal: Action.

Key highlights from the day:
1. Scaling Impact: We officially disbursed seed funding to our 8 outstanding innovators, empowering them to turn their climate resilience visions into scalable realities.
2. Artificial Intelligence: We explored how AI and digital branding can amplify the stories of these climate champions.
3. Policy Pathways: Innovators unpacked how youth can actively influence climate policy and resilience frameworks.

Lots of appreciation to our strategic partners for making this journey possible: UNICEF Kenya, Africa Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), gDIH Kenya, NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT TRUST FUND (NETFUND-Kenya), and Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA).

The passion and progress showcased yesterday proved one thing: The future of climate action is safe in the hands of our youth.

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Kenya - National Finals 2025, held at Nova Pioneer School – Tatu City. The event brought together brilliant young minds from across the country to showcase their innovation and problem-solving skills in robotics.

Over two days, learners competed passionately in the Robo Missions and Future Innovators categories across three age groups:

Elementary (8–12 years)
Junior (11–15 years)
Senior (14–19 years)

🏆 Congratulations to the winning teams who emerged as champions and will proudly represent Kenya at the WRO International Finals later this year!
