today we were able to host our monthly meeting which is every last Tuesday of the month. we were able to deliberate in the future progress and debriefing of meeting, activities and training attended.

Today, we were privileged to attend the Mental Health Financing Advocacy Coalition Progress Review Meeting at the Royal Tulip Hotel, Nairobi, as coalition members, with support from HERAF.

Mental health remains a critical issue in Kenya that requires greater awareness, stronger advocacy, and increased financing to address existing gaps and improve access to quality mental health services.

Today, our Programs Officer, Sarah, together with our Communications and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer, Lucas, and the TUGLOW CEO Scholar, participated in the Makadara Sub-County Mental Health Customer Service, Complaints and Grievances Redress Charter Dissemination Meeting held at Jimlizer Hotel.

The meeting brought together representatives from Jericho Health Centre, Lunga Lunga Health Centre, and Makadara Hospital to strengthen awareness and implementation of customer service standards and effective complaints and grievances redress mechanisms within mental health services.

This important engagement was supported by HERAF and reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to improving accountability, responsiveness, and the quality of mental health care services in Makadara Sub-County.

Disasters cause serious damage and contribute to air pollution, especially frequent fires in informal settlements.

Nairobi Fire Rescue Services is working closely with GRO6 NETWORK.
