Another new school year begins today📚bringing new goals, responsibilities, and opportunities for learning📚💫

Two months summer break seemed too long for most of the students and they’re happy to be reunited with their classmates and teachers.

We are pleased to welcome our students back and look forward to supporting their progress throughout the year❤️

Singing is a big part of our music lessons at Moyo Primary 🎶

Through songs, our students practice English and Swahili… but they also learn something even more important — confidence, presence, and pride in who they are.

The Maasai culture, their voices, their stories❤️

Every single day, they become a little more brave, a little more expressive, and a little more proud.

🍍Fruit discovery day!

Our students had been playing soccer and were all dusty in their sports clothes, but the highlight of the day was a session learning about fruits!
— many had seen them in the market, but none of them had ever tasted them before.

They studied seeds, drew the fruits, and couldn’t believe how heavy the watermelon was! 🍉they laughed a lot and loved the sweet taste. Another fun learning day at Moyo Primary School💚

💨 Right now, it’s an ongoing dry season in Amboseli, and it’s tough — lasting for months.

The weather can change in an instant. One moment it’s calm, the next a sandstorm sweeps across the bush, covering everything in dust. It’s an illustration of how life in the bush can be — unpredictable and challenging.

Animals are struggling, without much water or grass around. Our Moyo students keep learning through it all — showing incredible strength and spirit❤️

We’re really praying for rain to come soon.

💧 If you’d like to help us find water solutions for our school, your support would mean the world — we would love to hear from you.

👁️ Eye Testing Day at Moyo Primary School!

Last Friday was an incredible day of community outreach — more than one hundred students, all our staff, and many parents received professional eye testing, right here at Moyo Primary School in the bush.

Living in the bush means constant exposure to dust, sand and shortage of water, which often causes allergies and affects eyesight for both children and adults. That’s why this visit meant so much to our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Lions Sightfirst Eye Hospital for coming all the way to see us — and for giving our students medicine and providing reading glasses to the parents.

Your generosity and care truly makes a difference👁️

Our school is far out in the Maasai bush, and when night falls, it gets really dark.
Thanks to the kindness of a Kenyan friend of the school, we now have new solar security lights outside!

These lights don’t just make the school safer—they’re literally lighting up the bush for our community.

We are so grateful for this donation🌙✨⭐️Asante sana🙏🏽
