The Japanese Government is recruiting facilitators for SSEAYP and SWY. The selected facilitators will conduct discussion programs with youths from various countries.
≪SSEAYP≫
â—†What is the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP)?
☑SSEAYP: leadership training program organized by the Government of Japan.
☑Participants: 170 youth from 11 different countries
(Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Lao P.D.R., Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam and Timor-Leste(observer))
☑Contents: discussion program, cultural exchange events, participant-led activities, homestay etc.
â—†What is the Discussion Program?
Participants are divided into 6 topic groups and engage in academic discussion. This Discussion Program aims not only to deepen their understanding of thematic topics but also to equip them with practical knowledge and skills to contribute to solving social issues.

≪SWY≫
â—†What is the Ship for World Youth Program (SWY)?
☑SWY: Leadership training program organized by the Government of Japan.
☑Participants: 176 youth from 13 different countries
(Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Greece, India, Jamaica, Mongolia, Mozambique, New Zealand, Palau, Spain and Japan)
☑Contents: academic discussion, cultural exchange events, participant-led activities etc.
â—†What is Course Discussion?
During the program, participants are divided into 8 topic groups and engage in academic discussion. This year, Course Discussion is related to the Project Based Learning Session (PBL) which aims to let participants think about problem solving in Aichi with local citizens.
Each discussion group consists of approximately 20 participants and 1 facilitator, who coordinates teaching/ learning activities that focus on the course theme.
