‎Ministry is first and foremost about partnership with the Lord. From that partnership flows authority, power, wisdom, and provision. Whenever we truly involve God, He always makes a way.
‎
‎Allow me to share a testimony.
‎
‎Last Friday, as we were concluding our session at Tukufu, several children arrived hoping to join the meeting. Unfortunately, the room was already full and we were winding up, so I asked them to come back the following day. Some of the children did not take this well. They began bickering outside, causing a disturbance. At one point, they even banged on the door and ran away.
‎
‎I was honestly unsettled. These were children who had previously been invited but had chosen not to attend. Now, after seeing others with toys, they suddenly wanted to be part of the session. I discerned that what they were really seeking was attention—whether positive or negative. I needed wisdom on how to respond. I did not want to reward bad behavior, yet I also did not want to mishandle tender hearts.
‎
‎That evening during my prayer time, I brought the matter before the Lord. I asked Him to deal with the situation and to convict the children concerning their behavior. I chose not to engage further or invest my energy in it. I surrendered it fully into God’s hands and resolved to remain at peace.
‎
‎Yesterday, to our amazement, those same children came back. They knocked on the center door and apologized profusely—so much so that the other children burst into laughter at how sincere and intense the apology was. Afterward, they went out and brought along several of their friends—about fifteen boys—who all sat down attentively for the lesson. They even promised to return again today.
‎
‎Who can be likened to our God? This was truly His doing. Had I handled the matter in my own strength, I might have pushed those boys away. But because I surrendered the situation to the Lord and remained sensitive to His leading, He turned it around for good.
‎
‎Indeed, Jesus must remain at the center of every work we carry out in His Name. We cannot operate independently of Him and expect grace-filled outcomes. Let us involve Him in everything.
