In partnership with the Giants Group of Nairobi - Twiga, the Premchandbai Foundation recently undertook a food donation drive in Loiyangalani, a remote and underserved area where the community's primary livelihood is fishing in the vast Lake Turkana.

The journey to Loiyangalani was no small feat, it took 14 hours, with over 200 kilometers of rough, nearly impassable roads. Security challenges along the isolated route made the trip even more daunting. Yet, every moment was worth it.

The villagers welcomed us warmly, their gratitude overflowing as they received the festive season food hampers. Their prayers and blessings were heartfelt reminders of the impact that kindness and partnership can have on those who need it most.

We extend our gratitude to the Giants Group of Nairobi - Twiga and Shree Vanik Vaishnav Mahajan for making this initiative possible, to the volunteers, and to everyone who was involved in bringing smiles and hope to Loiyangalani. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We began the month of December on a high note, contributing to a transformative initiative that brought healthcare closer to the women in the construction industry.

The Premchandbai Foundation was honored to participate in a free medical camp organized by Safal MRM Foundation in partnership with Buildher at the Buildher Workshop in Baba Dogo. Our scholarship beneficiaries currently pursuing careers in medicine, alongside alumni doctors now practicing, volunteered their expertise to make this event a success.

A total of 153 patients benefited from services such as general consultations, cervical cancer screening, breast cancer education, family planning, laboratory tests, and free medication. This impactful initiative was led by the dedicated Mabati Medical Centre team, with support from Baraka Health Centre and passionate volunteers from Safal MRM Foundation and Buildher.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Safal MRM Foundation and Buildher for including us in this meaningful initiative. Together, we are not only improving healthcare access but also empowering our scholars and alumni to give back to the community in impactful ways.

We are proud to stand at the forefront of digital empowerment, ensuring that access to technology becomes a reality for the next generation. Through our continuous partnership with Giants Group of Nairobi - Twiga, we are making significant strides in equipping young learners from marginalized communities with essential digital literacy skills.

On 17th October, we expanded our efforts by donating 40 desktop computers to 8 primary schools in Kiambu County and Kajiado County, each school received 5 desktops.
This is an additional build-up on the foundation we laid in September when we donated 20 desktops to 4 primary schools in Kiambu County. With these tools, more students are now empowered to explore, learn, and thrive in today’s tech-driven world.

These donations are more than just providing equipment, they are unlocking opportunities, fostering creativity, and preparing young minds for the challenges and possibilities of the future.
Together, we’re shaping an inclusive future where technology uplifts and empowers students from underserved communities.

The Premchandbhai Foundation Trustees visited Karen C Primary School on the 2nd of October 2024 to witness the remarkable progress of the ongoing renovation project, which has transformed 10 classrooms into safer, brighter spaces for learning. This initiative, sponsored by the Foundation, is part of our commitment to ensuring all children have access to quality education in a safe and secure environment.

During their visit, the Trustees joined the students in planting trees, symbolizing growth, renewal, and a sustainable future for the school. The joy on the faces of the pupils was undeniable, they are now learning in a space that inspires and empowers them to achieve their dreams.

Parents and teachers expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting the positive impact on student performance and well-being. With this transformation, the entire community is seeing the benefits of a better learning environment.

We look forward to continuing our efforts to improve education standards and ensure every child thrives in a safe and secure environment.

We wish to thank the Karen C Board of Management, Langata Sub-county Education Director, and Head of Safal MRM Foundation Siprosa Rabach for joining us on the visit.

Together, we’re shaping futures and fostering success.

On 17th September, the Premchandbhai Foundation was honored to attend the handover ceremony of a newly constructed 8-block classroom at Kabuku Comprehensive School. This project, generously funded by the Japanese Embassy in Kenya under the leadership of H.E. Ambassador Okaniwa Ken, represents a significant milestone in improving the learning environment for Kabuku's students.

In alignment with our shared commitment to education, Premchandbhai Foundation Trustees, accompanied by our partner Giants Group of Nairobi - Twiga, participated in this event by donating 1,800 packets of sanitary pads, geometrical sets, and library storybooks. These contributions aim to support the student’s overall well-being and enhance their learning experience.

The sanitary pads will benefit more than 300 Kabuku school girls for over a year, making a tangible impact on menstrual hygiene management and ensuring these young girls can focus on their education without disruption.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Kabuku Comprehensive School Headteacher, and Board of Management for inviting us to witness this momentous occasion. We look forward to partnering with them to further increase access to quality education leaving no child behind.

On August 30th, Premchandbhai Foundation in partnership with the Safal MRM Foundation brought light to the community of Asango village in Siaya County, by distributing 100 solar lamps generously donated by the Peter Verbeeck Support Organization of USA and Rotary Club of Mombasa. These lamps are now illuminating the lives of school-going children in households without electricity, particularly those cared for by grandparents, orphans, and widows.

We are not stopping there! Premchandbhai Foundation and Safal MRM Foundation are expanding this initiative to Oloika-Kajiado, Kisumu, and Kitengela, ensuring that even more children have the opportunity to study under a bright, safe light. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our donors, the Asango East Assistant Chief, and community volunteers who made this a success. Together, we maximize our impact and brighten futures, one light at a time!
