Today marked a significant milestone at the Community Relations Foundation as we successfully launched the Amani Daima Peace Program 🕊️—a timely initiative focused on strengthening unity, coexistence, and peaceful participation as we approach the General Election.

Kawangware and many informal settlements have historically been identified as hotspots during election periods, with past experiences of post-election violence. It is therefore our shared responsibility to take proactive steps in promoting peace and preventing conflict before it arises.

In collaboration with the Office of the DCC, Dagoretti North Subcounty, we will be rolling out a series of public barazas to engage the community, create awareness, and encourage peaceful coexistence. This will culminate in a major Caravan Peace Walk scheduled for 30th April 2026—bringing together residents, leaders, and stakeholders in a unified call for peace. All are welcome to be part of this important movement.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the CRF Women for their unwavering commitment to advancing peace, love, and unity 🤝. Special thanks to Nairobi Recyclers for facilitating an impactful peace-building session, KCB Kawangware Branch for their valued partnership, and the Kawangware Landowners Chairman together with the Inspector of Police for their continued support.

International Taekwondo Glory: Our U-15 team represented our nation in Angola, bringing home two Silver Medals! 🥈🥋
The Ghetto Run (3rd Edition): A successful marathon in November that brought our community together in the spirit of resilience. 🏃‍♂️💨
Kick Away Drug Abuse & Crime: A powerful 2nd edition of our football tournament, steering our youth toward a brighter path. ⚽🚫
Women Empowerment Initiative: This year, we successfully integrated Women Empowerment as a core pillar in our mission. By involving women in every stage of our mentorship, we are strengthening our fight against crime and drug abuse through the hands that raise the next generation. 👩‍👧‍👦✨

​We are also deeply honored to announce that the team has been joined by legendary marathoner and peace advocate Ambassador Tegla Lorupe, alongside the Taekwondo Secretary General. Their presence and support provide invaluable inspiration to our kids as they strive for greatness on the international stage.
