FROM FARM TO FORK WITHOUT FEVER:

Today being World Veterinary Day 2026, we are celebrating a group of heroes we often forget: veterinarians.
While many people think vets only take care of sick animals, their biggest job is actually keeping you safe and healthy.

We are your Food's Bodyguards.

The theme this year is “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health.” As Vets we work behind the scenes to make sure the food we get from animals is safe to eat. Therefore, we act as the "bouncers" of the food world by:
Checking Livestock: Making sure cows, chickens, and pigs are healthy before they become meat or milk or eggs etc.
Stopping Germs: Blocking animal diseases from spreading to humans.
Keeping Medicine Working: Ensuring animals aren't over-medicated so that our own human medicines still work when we get sick.
