We are deeply honoured and grateful to the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) Africa for once again partnering with and sponsoring Beuchi’s Mt. Everest Basecamp Climb for Epilepsy Awareness in Africa this September.

Earlier today in Kilifi County we had an opportunity to interact and have an in-depth conversation with parents and Caregivers on what the Epilepsy Awareness Pathway program seeks to address.

Many agreed with the fact that there is a shift in stigma related to Epilepsy from patients to Caregivers. When it happens, who comes to their aid?

Epilepsy Awareness Resource Centre seeks to address this by giving Caregivers a platform to talk about the challenges in a safe space where they don't feel judged and misunderstood.
