MEWA Education Chairman, Mr Bwanaheri Salim visited Markaz Habib Swaleh and a successful engagement with The Markaz Administration Officials Ustaadh Albaar Muhsin and sheikh Athman Kheir.

The discussion focused on building a strong MEWA– Markaz partnership to improve education in the regionstrengthening Islamic studies while expanding practical skills programs, including initiatives like the recently concluded 4-day ToT bootcamp in coding and robotics for children.

📚✨ On Saturday 20th September 2025 we held a physical remedial classes hosted at our center MEWA Community Center courtesy of MEWA Digital Hub, we believe in giving every student the opportunity to excel. As an extension to our ongoing 2025 Virtual KCSE Remedial Programme brings together students from different schools for focused Kiswahili and IRE sessions — designed to strengthen understanding, boost confidence, and improve academic performance. Special thanks to the school management of High School and Star Of The Sea Secondary school for their full cooperation.

Special shout out & warm appreciation to our per excellence Remedial Teachers Mr Rishad Swabur and Madam Sumeiya Salim for their unmatched dedication to this noble course May Allah reward you in multifolds

On Saturday, 30th August 2025, we successfully held the MEWA Education Open Day 🎉. The event brought together community members, students, and partners to explore how MEWA Community Centre is empowering lives through education 📚.

From showcasing our diverse programs & courses to engaging sensitization campaigns, the day was all about awareness, opportunity, and empowerment 🌍💡.

We thank everyone who showed up, asked questions, and walked away inspired to take the next step in their learning journey 🙌. Together, we’re building a stronger, informed, and educated community! 💙

On Monday, the Mewa Committee Education proudly signed an MOU with Mvita Boys High School, forging a transformative partnership to empower young minds through our Virtual Remedial Classes Program! This collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between learning and performance, elevating grades in STEM and Humanities while unlocking the full potential of every student. To make this vision a reality, we’ve delivered a state-of-the-art 55" Smart TV to the school, enabling students to access our cutting-edge remedial classes both in school and from the comfort of their homes. Today, we had an inspiring session with the students, officially handing over the Smart TV and kickstarting this exciting journey toward academic excellence! Together, we’re building a brighter future through education, innovation, and empowerment.
