*By-Laws and Fisheries Rights Reviewed*
Today, *Tiwi BMU* held a session to discuss proposed changes to BMU by-laws and fisheries rights within the BMU area.

The session was prepared and facilitated by *Kcbn* in partnership with *Blue Ventures*.

The discussion focused on strengthening local by-laws, clarifying fishing rights, and ensuring sustainable management of marine resources for all Tiwi BMU members.

Members actively contributed ideas to align community rules with national fisheries regulations.

Today, *Nyari Kikadin BMU* held a legislation session on BMU by-laws.

The meeting was conducted in partnership with *KCBn* and facilitated by *Blue Ventures* and the *Fisheries Officer*.

The session focused on reviewing and strengthening BMU by-laws to support sustainable fisheries management, improve compliance, and empower community leadership in protecting marine resources.

*Day 2 Training Success!*
Today our BMU members completed training on *Different Types of Marine Fish & Recording Terms*.
We learned to identify Reef fish, Pelagic fish, Demersal fish, and how to properly use scientific names when recording catch data. This will help us improve data for KCBn and better manage our fisheries.
