Partnerships create impact.
Yesterday, Kurunzi Cerebral Palsy Center together with PESAID came together for a beach therapy and caregiver support session aimed at improving the wellbeing of children with cerebral palsy and empowering their families.
This collaboration brought together parents, therapists, and a psychologist to provide therapy, emotional support, awareness, and encouragement in a safe and refreshing environment.
At Kurunzi, we believe that every child deserves care, dignity, inclusion, and the opportunity to thrive regardless of their condition.
We sincerely appreciate partners, donors, and well-wishers who continue to stand with us and make such impactful programs possible. Your support is changing lives and restoring hope to many families.

*Sometimes* *healing* *begins* *with* a *simple** *moment* of *connection* . ☕
After our therapy sessions at Kurunzi Cerebral Palsy Center, parents and caregivers take time to share tea, encouragement, experiences, and hope together.
At Kurunzi, we believe supporting the caregiver is just as important as supporting the child. Together, we continue building a community of love, strength, and understanding. 🌻

Today, we were honoured to host Madam Triza, the President of PESAID, together with her colleague at Kurunzi Cerebral Palsy Foundation during our therapy sessions.
Their visit gave them an opportunity to interact with our children, parents, and therapy team, while learning more about the work we do in supporting children living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
We are grateful for their time, encouragement, and willingness to explore possible areas of collaboration that can help improve the lives of the children and families we serve.
Thank you, Madam Triza and your team, for visiting Kurunzi and standing with us in creating hope, inclusion, and brighter futures for children with disabilities.

Yesterday we had a meaningful visit to Centre of Grace Church, where we met with Pastor Faith Kaluki and had the opportunity to interact with the congregation.
During the visit, we conducted a disability awareness session and shared about the work of Kurunzi Cerebral Palsy Center. We encouraged members to become ambassadors of inclusion in their workplaces and communities, helping to spread awareness and support for children with disabilities.
We also had an open conversation with church leaders, encouraging them to consider disability-friendly designs when building or renting church spaces. Creating accessible environments ensures that everyone, including children with disabilities and their families, can participate fully in worship and church activities.
We discussed the challenges many caregivers face, including discrimination and lack of awareness, which unfortunately prevents some parents from bringing their children to church. We also requested that children with special needs be given the opportunity to attend Sunday School despite their challenges, because at Kurunzi we strongly believe that no child should be left behind.
We are grateful that Centre of Grace has expressed willingness to partner with Kurunzi as we work together to promote inclusion, awareness, and equal opportunities for all children.
