​For a child to truly thrive, it takes a global village.

​When we founded Compass Track Mentors in Kenya, we set out with a clear, urgent mission: to bridge the gap between technical academic knowledge and the vital human soft skills required to navigate life successfully.

​From early childhood learning (ages 4–6) all the way through young adulthood, our play-based mentorship model focuses on the child's entire surrounding ecosystem—partnering directly with parents, nannies, teachers, and religious leaders. We operate across 5 core pillars:

​🏗️ Special Project Focus: The Community Playhouse
Right now, children in the challenging environments of Mombasa and Kilifi lack a safe space to simply be kids.

Play is a foundational pillar for cognitive development and trauma healing. We are actively seeking international partners, advocates, and funding to establish a dedicated, secure Community Playhouse Project—a safe sanctuary for therapeutic play and mentorship.

​We are currently onboarding for three international pathways:

​International Board Directors: Guiding our NGO governance, compliance, and global scaling.

​Global Advisory Council: Championing international fundraising, grant writing, and PR.

​Immersive Mentors (Virtual & On-Site): Delivering training to local caregivers, hosting workshops, or helping us physically build our Playhouse sanctuary in Kenya.

True leadership starts with understanding that we are responsible for one another. 🕊️

​In our mentorship session at Kivukoni School this week, we explored what it means to share responsibilities. This moment captured it perfectly—two individuals, one goal, moving forward in perfect sync.

​When we teach children how to share the load early on, we build a foundation for a more cooperative, responsible community tomorrow.

This is exactly why the work we do in mentorship is so vital.
