On 25 May 1963, our elders gathered in Addis Ababa and refused the borders drawn for them in Berlin. African Liberation Day was born from that refusal — the founding act of the Pan-African project that still binds us.

Sixty-three years later, the borders remain. But so does the refusal.
Today, Africans Rising & This Is Africa open the Borderless Africa Campaign Creator Challenge — a two-month invitation to you African creators across the continent and diaspora to imagine, in 30 seconds to 3 minutes of video, what a borderless Africa looks like through your eyes.
