How about we act it instead of just talking about it?
Some conversations are difficult to have.
Talking about sexual violence, consent, teenage pregnancy, bullying, gender equality, and healthy relationships can sometimes feel uncomfortable. People may listen for a few minutes and then forget.
But when a story is acted out, something changes.
How about we act on it instead of just talking about it?
They see the consequences.
They see themselves in the characters.
That is why we use skits and plays in our awareness work.
A skit can turn statistics into real-life experiences.
It can help a parent understand their child.
It can help a young person recognize abuse.
It can help a community start conversations that were previously ignored.
Sometimes the message is not heard because it is spoken.
Sometimes it is heard because it is seen.
How about we act it instead of just talking about it?
Because awareness is not only about informing people.
It is about helping them understand, feel, and take action.
A stage can become a classroom. A skit can become a lesson. And a story can become the beginning of change
