I’m thrilled to share that Beyond The Trails Kenya has been nominated for the under the !

This nomination is more than just recognition , it is a celebration of every story told, every community engaged, and every young person inspired to love and protect our planet.

Born and raised in Budalangi ,a place where the river rises but so does resilience this journey began in 2018 with a simple page created out of a deep love for nature, wildlife, and environmental storytelling. What started as a passion has grown into Beyond The Trails Kenya, a movement dedicated to climate education and uplifting community voices.

In 2021, after attending both the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice and The Climate Reality Leadership Corps Global Training, I officially launched Beyond The Trails Kenya. Since then, we’ve reached thousands through storytelling, community work, and environmental awareness.

Like any meaningful journey, we’ve had our challenges. In 2023, we lost all of our blog content. But in 2025, we rose again and rebuilt everything from scratch. This year has been a remarkable milestone , from receiving the to now being nominated for the .
