Women Initiative For Empowerment & Development (WiFED) WiFED - Women Initiative For Empowerment & Development is an initiative that builds programs to support and empower women and the girl child in society.

WiFED is a program of The Slumcode Group (www.slumcode.org) that deals specifically with Women and Girl Child Support Projects. Huruma being a densely populated and cosmopolitan low income neighborhood, challenges of social vices, broken families, absentee parents, school dropouts and teen motherhood abound.
