LJF CARES

Earlier today, on this blessed Sabbath Day, the Lawi Jaoko Foundation brought renewed hope to Mama Caren Adongo Machira lovingly known as Min Geoffrey. After months of struggle, the Foundation stepped in once again to uplift her family by helping her start a small business that will provide stability and dignity. Alongside this, she received essential foodstuffs to ease the burden on her household, reminding her that she is not forgotten and that support can come when it’s needed most.

The Lawi Jaoko Foundation continues to touch lives across Nyatike with compassion and purpose. By empowering families like Mama Caren’s, the Foundation proves that true care goes beyond words it is action, empathy, and consistency. Today’s gesture wasn’t just charity; it was a message of love, solidarity, and commitment to restoring dignity in our communities.

The Lawi Jaoko Foundation has walked into the life of Janes Akelo Oboo a completely blind man who has spent years navigating darkness with courage but without the support he needed. With compassion and persistence, we stood by him and ensured he was finally registered on SHA, opening doors that had remained closed for far too long. For Janes, this was more than a formality it was a moment of recognition, dignity, and renewed hope.

But our journey with him did not end there. The Foundation continues to support his family with regular foodstuffs and essential basic needs, lifting a heavy weight off their shoulders. Every visit, every package, and every conversation is a reminder that no one should be left to struggle alone. Janes’ story touches our hearts deeply, inspiring us to keep reaching out, keep caring, and keep changing lives one family at a time.
