Making that vision a reality takes more than national policies. It requires communities to be part of the solution.
In Migori, Homa Bay, and Baringo Counties, community health committees are bringing together community members, health workers, facility staff, and local leaders to identify challenges and find practical ways to improve care. Their work helps ensure that health services reflect the needs and priorities of the people they serve.
When communities have a seat at the table, health systems work better for everyone.
