On Thursday, 11th June 2026, the Lions Club of Meru extended a helping hand to Tuuru Children’s Home in Laare, Meru-Maua, by donating food groceries and essential supplies worth KSh 25,000.

The home, which cares for nearly 60 children living with cerebral palsy and other special needs, benefited greatly from this timely support, bringing hope and comfort to its residents.

The club was represented by Lion Dr. Vinod, Lion Laxmi, and Lion Amrat, whose dedication and commitment to humanitarian service exemplify the true spirit of Lionism.

The Lions Club of Meru sincerely appreciates their selfless efforts and unwavering compassion.

Together, through service, we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Club members visited Gitoro Children’s Home, Meru on 3rd June 2026 to present foodstuffs and other essential items worth KSh 23,000 to support the children.
