we successfully concluded a VSLA strengthening training for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), creating an inclusive space for participants to strengthen their knowledge and skills in managing savings groups and improving their financial resilience.
The training covered key areas including saving and share purchase, loan management and repayment, record keeping, leadership and governance, transparency, accountability, and conflict management.
Participants actively engaged in discussions, practical exercises, and experience sharing, gaining valuable knowledge on how effective VSLA management can support financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, access to small loans, income generation, and sustainable livelihoods.
The session also emphasized the importance of inclusive participation, equal opportunities, teamwork, responsible financial management, and meaningful involvement of persons with disabilities in group decision-making.
We appreciate all participants for their active participation, commitment, and valuable contributions throughout the training. Together, we continue to promote stronger and more inclusive savings groups where everyone has an opportunity to participate, save, access financial services, and work towards improved livelihoods.
