Over the weekend, the Charles Ngusya Nguna Foundation (CNNF) Kenya lead by the Patron Hon. Charles Ngusya Nguna in conjunction with Kamba Visionaries Association, and the community planted 5,000 trees in Kiio Parish, Itiliku Primary School & the surrounding areas in Kairungu Location, Mwingi West Constituency, Kitui County.
This is in line with Jaza Miti Initiative, a presidential directive to plant 15 billion trees by 2032 in Kenya and the Foundation's ambitious 10 million trees target for Mwingi West and the entire kitui county by 2027.
