Today under the guidance of the Ganda ward public health officer , we were able to conduct a menstrual hygiene talk at Miwani primary school in miwani village.

Together with students under his supervision from Northcoast medical college, it was truly an insightful session as the students learnt from them.

We appreciate the continued partnership that we have with the public health department- Ganda ward as we continue to help the students in various issues patterning health.

Under the guidance of the Ganda ward public health officer Mr. Emmanuel Nyinge yesterday we visited kwaupanga Junior school on a health talk to the students.

In attendance were also students from North coast who are also under his supervision on their attachment period.

MSHONGOLENI DISPENSARY

Today under the guidance of the Ganda ward public health officer, we were able to meet young mothers from Mshongoleni Dispensary where we were able to talk on various issues including proper nutritional practices for both mother and child, family planning and even menstrual hygiene management.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to inform the young mothers on the importance of them gaining skills that will enable them earn a living in order for them to assist themselves as well as their kids.

As a CBO it's our hope this engagement will continue and we shall be able to together transform our community ❤️

BISHOP BALDACHINO SECONDARY SCHOOL

It was an honor to have a session with students from Bishop Baldachino secondary school where we were able to talk on matters teenage pregnancies, drugs and substance abuse, insecurity in our villages and general mentorship.

It was a great opportunity to share with the students and glad of the warm reception.

As a CBO we continue to campaign and advocate for good behavior both in school and even at home.

YOUNG MOTHERS PAMOJA CLUB MASHINANI COURTESY OF LANDVORALBERG.

Today we managed to meet up with young mothers attached to Gahaleni Dispensary.
We were able to discuss on matters , of menstrual hygiene, proper breastfeeding methods and importance of exclusive breastfeeding, Nutrition for both mother and child, and the importance of clinical visits as well as vaccination for the baby.

We appreciate our Ganda ward public health officer for the continued support ❤️

MKUNGUNI COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL

It was a great honor to have a wonderful session with Mkunguni comprehensive school on matters of menstrual hygiene, drugs and substance abuse and general mentorship to these wonderful pupils.

We continue to engage both the girl and boychild as we work to ensure that all of them are able to be retained in school and complete their studies.

Accompanied by the Ganda ward public health officer together with his colleagues from Tana River County and students under his supervision, our PAMOJA team had a wonderful session at kijiwetanga primary school, where we talked on matters hygiene to both girls and boys.

At the end we also distributed sanitary towels and dignity kits to the boys.

In attendance too was madam Emma the county and also regional commissioner of Kenya Girl Guides Association , the head of institution Mr. Kanundu and other teachers.

After a wonderful visitation to the Mweri family in Kasibiji , we headed together with our Volunteers to msabaha where we were able to establish one of our PAMOJA Club mashinani -Msabaha group. This group will benefit from our sessions twice a month and also receive sanitary towels each month.
