At GreenWeave Youth, we are transforming textile waste through hand weaving and upcycling while creating environmental awareness and promoting sustainable livelihoods within our communities. What may seem discarded to many becomes an opportunity for creativity, sustainability, and climate action.

Through our sustainable waste management project, we continue to champion circular economic solutions that protect our environment while empowering young people with skills and purpose.

This is more than weaving. This is climate action. This is a community impact. This is GreenWeave Youth 🌱

What an incredible day! On this year’s 20th World Clean-Up Day, we joined thousands of people across the globe in taking action for a cleaner planet.

This year’s theme is truly at the heart of what we do at .youth ; tackling textile and fashion waste through circular solutions. We not only participated in the clean-up but also had the privilege to exhibit our upcycled products like rugs and mats made from textile waste. The positive feedback reminded us that waste is not waste when viewed through the lens of the circular economy.

A massive thank you to for coordinating this day and to my amazing team for showing up and representing our vision so well. We are proof that when young people come together with purpose, change happens!

What a wholesome day at Machakos Secondary School for the Deaf! 💚
We had engaging sessions with the students on climate change, disaster risk reduction, mental health, and GBV - and even got treated to some amazing entertainment! 🎶👏

The energy, interaction, and joy from the students made it all so meaningful. Grateful to for the continued support in our campaign and to .ch for making this possible.

Looking forward to engaging and learning with the students of Machakos Secondary School for the Deaf.

Because we believe in the power of Children and youth, we will be having an engaging session with students from the Machakos Secondary School for the Deaf. Creating awareness and discussing key issues within the community as well as areas of participation and contribution in development processes. If your neighbor is not safe so are you.
