⚽ Football Brings People Together!
Today, after Sunday worship services at our different churches, we came together at Ngecha Ground for an exciting FKF Super Cup encounter between Okoa Eagles FC and Autospring FC.
Despite the challenges faced, both teams displayed great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The match ended in a 0–0 draw.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who continues to follow, support, encourage, and stand with us as we nurture young athletes, develop their talents, build character, and create positive opportunities through football.

Okoa Young Men Ministry Kenya – Season Update & Appreciation

Greetings to our friends, players, supporters, and partners of Okoa Young Men Ministry Kenya.

First and foremost, we give all glory and thanks to God for His grace, faithfulness, and favour throughout the season. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported our ministry and football program in any way—through prayers, encouragement, financial support, resources, participation, and presence. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference.

The Sub-Branch League season has come to an end. Although we did not achieve the results we had hoped for, we are grateful for the opportunity, the lessons learned, and the effort demonstrated by our players and technical team. We congratulate everyone who participated and gave their best.

The Chapa Dimba tournament, sponsored by Safaricom, has also come to an end on our side. We thank God for the opportunity to participate and for the experiences gained along the way.

As we look ahead, our focus now turns to the upcoming Super Cup Tournament. We are preparing with determination, learning from the past season, and trusting God for better opportunities and greater impact.

We continue to face a few challenges here and there, but we remain encouraged by God's grace and provision. We believe that every challenge is an opportunity to grow, strengthen our team, and remain faithful to the mission God has entrusted to us.

We kindly ask you to continue following, praying for, encouraging, and supporting Okoa Young Men Ministry Kenya as we move forward.

Together, we can use football, mentorship, discipleship, and community engagement to inspire, equip, and transform young men for a better future.

Greetings to all members of the Okoa family, friends, partners, and supporters.
I take this opportunity to sincerely thank each one of you for your unwavering support, commitment, and prayers towards Okoa Young Men Ministry Kenya and the football club. Your encouragement continues to inspire us as we work towards transforming lives through the Gospel, mentorship, and sports.
Despite facing a few challenges, we remain committed to strengthening our ministry programmes and expanding our impact within the community.
We thank God for the successful Community Outreach Programme conducted together with the mission team from North Carolina, USA. The event was a great blessing, and we appreciate everyone who contributed their time, resources, and prayers to make it a success.
Yesterday, our football team experienced a difficult day, losing both matches and recording several injuries. We are especially grateful to God that our goalkeeper, who fainted during the games, received prompt medical attention at Tigoni Hospital and has since regained consciousness. We continue praying for the quick recovery of all the injured players.
Special appreciation also goes to the young men who have voluntarily sacrificed their time and energy to level our football pitch. Your dedication and spirit of service are helping to build a better environment for our ministry and community.

In line with our calendar of events,Okoa Young Men Ministry will be conducting fundraising activities throughout the month of June to support our annual budget and ongoing programs,we warmly invite to partner with us in these efforts,wherever you may be.
Fundraising Participation Guidelines for Okoa Young Men Ministry
As part of our ongoing efforts to support Okoa Young Men Ministry and ensure the successful implementation of its programs, we invite you to participate in our fundraising activities from wherever you are. Your involvement is highly valued and will make a meaningful impact.
Ways to Participate:
1. Awareness Through Branding and Testimony
Purchase a plain t-shirt or jersey and brand it with the Okoa Young Men Ministry logo. Take a photo of yourself wearing the branded attire.
Prepare a brief biography highlighting your experience in Kenya and your encounter with Okoa Young Men Ministry.
Include the official donation link and website in your message, then share the photo and information across your social media platforms, WhatsApp groups, WhatsApp status, and with as many people as possible.
2. Host a Small Gathering
Select any date within the month of June and invite friends, teammates, relatives, or church members for a casual meeting (coffee, breakfast, lunch, or dinner).
Use this opportunity to share about Okoa Young Men Ministry and provide donation details.
3. Spiritual Support (Prayer and Fasting)

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for continuing to follow and support Okoa Young Men Ministry. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership continue to make a great impact in the lives of young men through discipleship, mentorship, sports ministry, and community outreach.

We would like to share a few upcoming ministry activities and updates:

- Okoa Eagles FC will be finishing the first leg of the Sub-Branch League season this weekend. We thank God for His faithfulness and the progress the team has made so far.

- On July 4th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will be hosting youth from Summit Church, North Carolina (USA). This will be a wonderful opportunity for interaction, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, and football activities together.

- From July 20th–24th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will attend TREC(Training Resourcing Equipping coaches)at Rosslyn Academy with Ambassadors football International. This training focuses on developing coaches and leaders where passion meets purpose — raising coaches who lead with heart, impact lives, and transform communities.

- From August 21st–24th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will participate in a mission trip to the coastal region. The trip will include football outreach, beach evangelism, discipleship programs, exploration activities, and ministry engagement with local communities.

Building community through soccer!join Okoa Eagles fc athletes and be part of a supportive network for young minds

Friends and Family of Okoa Young Men Ministry,

Thank you so much for being part of this journey of spreading the Gospel and transforming young athletes through sports, particularly soccer. Your prayers, encouragement, and support continue to strengthen this mission of serving God through sports.

Today was a special and encouraging day for our ministry. The Under-15 League was officially launched in partnership with the Football Federation Limuru Branch at Maramba Ground. We are grateful to witness young talents being nurtured both spiritually and athletically. In the opening match, Okoa Eagles U15 secured a 1–0 victory against Camelia FC U15, which was a great start for the team.

In addition, during the Limuru Central Tournament Quarter Final, our Okoa Eagles Senior Team played a competitive match against Vijana FC. The match ended in a penalty shootout where we unfortunately lost. Despite the result, we remain proud of the team’s determination, discipline, and sportsmanship.

As we continue with this mission, we are guided by the Word of God:

> “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

> “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

Today, we held a memorial match, candle-lighting ceremony, and a fundraising initiative in honor of the late Kevin, the captain of Shoppers FC, who passed away one week ago. The event took place at Tigoni Grounds and was a meaningful moment of remembrance and solidarity.

In addition, Okoa Eagles face Limuru City in a friendly “Back to School” match at Rongai Primary School as part of our continued efforts to promote unity, mentorship, and sportsmanship among the youth.

We sincerely appreciate the encouragement, support, and participation of everyone involved. As we look ahead, we are preparing to resume the Sub-Branch League next weekend.

OKOA MINISTRY UPDATE
We humbly give thanks to God for His protection, guidance, and abundant grace that has sustained the Okoa Young Men Ministry this far.
Yesterday, we had a joyful and meaningful time with the young men as we celebrated four years of ministry operation, alongside our end-of-year celebration. It was encouraging to witness the boys actively participating—preparing their own meals, sharing thanksgiving messages, laughing together, and fellowshipping over a meal. These moments greatly strengthened our unity, brotherhood, and sense of togetherness.
We sincerely extend our gratitude to everyone who supported this endeavor through prayers, financial contributions, and encouragement. May God richly bless you for standing with us.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
