Handwashing is more than a habit—it’s a shield. It prevents the common diseases we treat daily and stops the spread between people and animals.

This Labor Day, we’re turning our spotlight to the man who navigates the frontline of our mission.

Behind every remote clinic reached and every life touched is the steady hand of Captain Fahmi Mahib . His work isn’t defined by a typical office; it’s defined by the grit it takes to traverse the harshest terrains and the intuition to guide us through the most unpredictable sea tides.

To Captain Fahmi, the " " isn't just a metaphor—it’s a daily commitment to overcoming the elements so that healthcare can reach those who need it most. His dedication is the literal engine behind our impact, ensuring that no matter how rough the waters or how rugged the path, the team arrives safely and ready to serve.

To Captain Fahmi: Thank you for your tireless efforts, your expertise, and your unwavering resolve. You don't just steer a vessel; you carry the hopes of entire communities across the waves.
Happy .

World Tuberculosis Day 2026 🌍✨

TB remains a leading global killer, yet it is entirely preventable and curable. The challenge today isn't a lack of medicine—it’s a challenge of logistics and access. We already have the tools to win; we simply need to ensure they reach every person in every community.

The Essentials:

Airborne & Reachable: TB spreads through the air, but a standard treatment course cures most cases.

Early Detection: Watch for a persistent cough, night sweats, and weight loss. Early testing saves lives.

Break the Stigma: TB can affect anyone. Support those in treatment—compassion is a vital part of the cure.

Let’s bridge the gap. Together, we can lead the way to a TB-free world.

Today, we celebrate the incredible fact that women are now 60% of Kenya's national health workforce.

This powerful "internal force" of women—from the last-mile villages to the urban hubs—is relentlessly breaking barriers and closing health gaps. Through their dedicated outreach and advocacy, we have seen our national health worker density grow, moving from the low numbers of 2010 to achieving 68% of the global coverage goal today.

As a social enterprise, is immensely proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our communities. Together, we are not just providing care; we are fostering deep community Ownership.

When the backbone of the community has a voice, Rights, Justice, and Action become a reality for every family. To the women of the last mile: You are the hope, and you are the solution.
