Y+ Kwale and fellow youth-led organizations were honored to attend the official launch of "Nena na Binti", a youth-friendly SRHR comic book. The first edition focuses on menstrual health, presenting essential information in a simple, engaging, and relatable way for young people across Kenya.
We were also proud to have our Y+ Kwale Network Coordinator, Nickson Janji, represent the network at this important milestone. Together, we remain committed to promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), empowering young people with knowledge, and creating informed, healthy communities.

Today, we had a productive engagement with the CEC for Social Services and Talent Management in the Kwale County Government, Hon. Fransisca Kilonzo, on critical issues affecting adolescents and young people in our communities.

The discussions centered on teenage pregnancies, early marriages, gender-based violence (GBV), HIV, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR).

We highlighted that HIV and SRHR are both social and health matters, requiring a multi-sectoral approach that brings together the health sector, social services, education, community leaders, and other stakeholders to address these challenges effectively.
