These County budget facilitators from 14 counties helps, guide, coordinate, and support the county budgeting process to ensure it is transparent, participatory, and effective. They help different stakeholders like government officials, community members, and organizations to understand and contribute to how public funds are planned and used.

This year(2025),the team was hosted by facilitator Ruth Muthoni in Kirinyaga county to review progress and plan for the next phase.

KWEPS is centred on serving the needs and interests of the community as a whole,regardless of political beliefs or affiliations.Maintaining a non-partisan position allows the organization to remain inclusive, trustworthy and accessible to all community members.This status strengthens the organization's credibility,fosters broad collaboration with diverse stakeholders,and reinforces it's commitment to unity,equity and community wellbeing.

As a non-partisan entity, KWEPS is all set to embark on Voter Education in Kirinyaga county-Kenya ahead of the 2027 general elections in partnership with the IEBC.
