Maggie's School

Maggie's School Maggie's School aims to keep Maggie and Wink McLeod’s legacy alive by educating children. Maggie's School now serves over 700 students.

They are learning to read and write in English and their native language. The children are served two meals a day. Uniforms were also provided for the students. There have been two medical mission trips to the school and more are being planned.

Spinx certainly made our fundraiser easier! Very thankful! We could not have done it without them. What a great group of folks who graciously allowed us to use their workspace to keep us out of the hurricane. We know the timing of the silent auction is not ideal, but it was all set up last Thursday ready for Friday when the storm hit. Spinx Headquarters has been without power all week, but it was restored Saturday. Since it is all set up, we are going forward with the fundraiser to honor the work of Wink McLeod reMEMbering her daughter, Maggie, by building a school that will continue to educate the children on Kenya for years to come. We truly hope you are able to join us tonight! Spinx Headquarters 1414 E. Washington St. Greenville, SC 29607 from 6:00-8:00.
