The Ouko family, in partnership with the community in their rural village (Koru), The Kenya National Library Services (KNLS) and the Digital Villages Network (DVN), are putting up a memorial library inspired by and established in honour of the late Dr. Robert Ouko. Their objective is to give a chance to thousands of young Kenyan learners to fulfill their potential and achieve their life goals by p
romoting a culture of reading, increasing access to information and aiding the acquisition of relevant and marketable skills. The family's dream is that this model will be replicated around the nation once its positive impact in our area is seen.
