Composting is a cornerstone of zero waste management.

Diverting organic waste such as food scraps, yard waste, and paper from landfills to produce nutrient-rich fertilizer.

It also reduces methane emissions, lowers disposal costs, and supports a circular economy by returning nutrients to the soil.

Last weekend We Trained a group of Waste pickers domiciled at the Machinjoni Dump site together with other members of the community from within Tuwan Ward on how to carry out Composting.

We were previlidged to have our Area MCA Hon.Daddy Were Opening up the activities for us.
