The Educate and Empower Organization (EEO) has been conducting mentorship programmes for students from Kabondo Kasipul Constituency during school holidays. The first mentorship session of 2026, held in April, benefited 38 students from different schools across the constituency.

Building on the success of that programme, we are pleased to launch the second cohort of the 2026 Mentorship Programme in Kabondo East Ward, scheduled for 12th August at Othoro Social Hall. This inspiring session aims to equip young people with essential life skills, career guidance, academic motivation, leadership values, and personal development tools to help them overcome challenges and realize their full potential.

Through mentorship, empowerment, and meaningful interaction with experienced facilitators, participants will gain knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to make informed decisions about their education and future. Together, we can nurture dreams, build resilience, and create opportunities for a brighter tomorrow.

The Educate & Empower Organization (EEO) was honored to participate in the 2026 National Day of the African Child celebrations in Homa Bay County. The event united key leaders, stakeholders, and children to advocate for a safe, inclusive, and healthy future for the next generation.

This year’s theme "Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) for Every Child in Africa" aligns deeply with our mission. Access to clean water and hygienic school environments is a fundamental prerequisite for successful education and youth empowerment.

We extend our gratitude to our local partners. We look forward to forge new alliances with like-minded organizations in Homa Bay County to expand our collective impact.
