WHEN YOU EMPOWER A GIRL, YOU INVEST IN A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ALL.

Yesterday, The Adah Foundation successfully commemorated the International Day of the Girl Child 2026 at AIC Moro Secondary School, Nyakach, under our commitment to empowering girls, promoting their rights, and creating a safer and more inclusive society for every child.

The event was a powerful reminder that every girl deserves access to education, dignity, equal opportunities, and a voice in decisions that shape her future. Together, we are working towards a world where girls can thrive, lead, and achieve their full potential.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the school administration, our partners, supporters, and everyone who contributed to making this event a success. Your support continues to inspire our mission.

At The Adah Foundation, we believe that an empowered girl is a catalyst for change. Our commitment to the girl child does not end with this celebration; it continues through advocacy, awareness, and meaningful community action.

Together for a brighter future, one girl at a time!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SPORT MEETS PURPOSE? COMMUNITY CHANGE! 💙

Yesterday, The Adah Foundation, in partnership with Nyakach Environmental CBO, brought our community together for a day of sport, mentorship, menstrual health sensitisation, dignity support and environmental action.

Two local football teams came together, girls received dignity packs, we held meaningful conversations on menstrual health, and we planted trees for a greener tomorrow. 🌳

Because change doesn't always start on a big stage. Sometimes, it starts right in our neighbourhood—with a conversation, a helping hand and a decision to act.

Proud to be part of a community that is willing to show up, speak up and take action. 💙

Together For A Better Tomorrow. 🌱

Nearly 1 in 4 girls globally face challenges in managing menstruation with dignity due to limited access to safe products, information, and supportive facilities.

We participated in the annual Nyalenda Period Festival organized by Dreams Redefined Organization to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day under the theme “Together for a Period Friendly World.”

We engaged in conversations on menstrual hygiene management and period dignity, reinforcing our commitment to advancing menstrual health, breaking stigma, and promoting dignity, equity, and access to safe menstrual health information and services.

As we marked the successful conclusion of the SAWA Young Women Leadership Training, and we are deeply honored to have been part of this transformative journey.

On our final day, we engaged in critical conversations around:
▪︎Basic concepts in gender
▪︎ The reality that many GBV cases at home go unreported
▪︎ The Kenya TFGBV Landscape Assessment findings
▪︎ Understanding Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV)
▪︎Common tactics used in perpetrating TFGBV through paid influencers and political intimidation

These discussions reminded us that violence against women is evolving beyond physical spaces and increasingly affecting women online, in leadership spaces, and within communities through intimidation, silence, harassment, and misinformation.

As Young Women Foundation, these conversations strongly connect with our mission of advocating against violence against women, including marital r**e, and creating safer spaces where women can speak, heal, participate, and lead without fear.

This may be the end of the training phase, but it is the beginning of mentorship, action, and intentional leadership.

The journey continues!
