A co-creation meeting bringing together Kajiado County departments, partners, and community stakeholders was held to plan the implementation of the Sowing Change Phase II Project. The discussions focused on strengthening the participation of women and youth in climate action, improving access to climate information, climate finance, and adaptation solutions.
A key highlight was hearing from a youth champion who shared how PICSA training enhanced her knowledge and confidence, enabling her to actively engage in climate governance platforms and advocate for youth voices. Her journey reflects the growing role of young people as leaders and agents of change in building climate resilience.
The meeting also identified priority interventions that will guide project implementation across Kuku, Kimana, and Entonet/Lenkism wards in Kajiado County.

It was an exciting experience to join STADA Kenya alongside, advocates, organizations, parents, young people, and community members in marking International Menstrual Hygiene Day through meaningful conversations around periods, dignity, health, stigma, access, and the lived experiences of women and girls.
Menstrual hygiene is not just a women’s issue. It is a dignity issue, a health issue, an education issue, an equality issue, and a justice issue.
