We are thrilled to announce the success of yesterday's inter-school climbing competition! The energy, passion, and talent displayed by all participants were truly inspiring.

Yago Bouldering and Climb and Fight for Human Rights 9a, climbing organizations from Spain, implemented a comprehensive training program for students from Kitmikayi Primary and Secondary, Nyamboyo Primary, and Kajulu Primary and Secondary schools. This program aimed to teach climbing techniques while instilling essential values such as leadership skills, risk management, and communication skills.

Training Program Overview
Objectives
Promote Physical Fitness and Healthy Lifestyle: Introduce students to climbing as a fun and engaging way to stay active.

Teach Climbing Techniques: Provide foundational climbing skills and safety practices.

Instill Values: Use climbing as a medium to teach important life skills like leadership, teamwork, risk management, and communication.

Components of the Training Program

1. Introduction to Climbing
Workshops and Seminars: Initial sessions to explain the basics of climbing, its benefits, and the importance of safety.

Demonstrations: Professional climbers from Yago Bouldering and Climb and Fight for Human Rights 9a showcased various climbing techniques and safety measures.
