Continued partnership calls for resilience, commitment, and consistency. Our very last engagement with Tinada Youth Action Africa continues to spark change and commitment, in ensuring that grassroots organization have the needed capacity to address challenges across communities with inclusivity and the needed understanding.

Yesterday we visited Manyatta Youth Resource Center, an organization where young talents are nurtured and get empowered.

We explored areas of possible partnership and collaboration in nurturing the talents of our young men and women across communities, especially in sports and performing arts.

Our future collaborations will be aligning with 'Sports for Health' - one of our thematic areas in mental health for the youths. We appreciate the warm welcome by Mr.Antony Obala, the chief administrator of MYRC.

Yesterday we visited Women Volunteers for Peace offices, a young women-led organization, supporting and promoting the role of young women and girls in peace and resilient building across communities.

We explored multiple areas of possible collaboration and partnership in empowering communities in Kisumu East. We'll now be working together in strategic partnership and collaboration, in areas where our interests align, to build and promoted communities in across Kisumu East.

This week we participated on Public Benefit Organization sensitization workshop at St.Stephen's Cathedral.

The workshop was organized by our partner, Transform Empowerment for Action Initiative organization, and was funded by Ford Foundation. It brought together representatives from 25 organizations across Kisumu East, Central, West, and Kadibo Sub Counties.

Key objective, among other things, was to elevate the status and build the capacity of community based organizations to be able to meaningfully engage government agencies on matters of accountability and governance.

Last week we participated in a two day training workshop organized by Amnesty International Kenya at Victoria Comfort Inn.

Our discussions focused on protecting Article 37 Rights in relation to protest-related cases pending before the courts, the prosecution of peaceful protesters and the need to develop human rights complaint guidelines for policing peaceful assemblies.

We are committed to strengthening engagements with communities.We reaffirmed💪

TALENT BUILDING💚

Investing in ladies football talent does more than win trophies. It builds confidence in girls, creates jobs as coaches/referees, and changes how communities see women. When a young girl in Kolwa East watches a female player score, she sees her own future on that pitch.

Ladies football talent is power in motion. The next global star might be dribbling barefoot in a Kenyan school field right now. Our job is to give her a ball, a coach, and a chance.
