Champ Dr. Fathy Jacob( ) represented Kisumu Environmental Champions at at UNON, Nairobi, where the message was clear: You cannot have healthy people without a healthy environment.

💡 Key takeaway: Just as we called for 5–10% of health budgets to go to youth-led initiatives, the same principle applies to environmental funding. Climate action is preventive health.

Proud to have our voice in sessions on climate resilience, health systems, and youth financing. The closing day's debate on health sovereignty reminded us: real change starts at the community level.
