Our elders at Gesabakwa elderly care Initiative are taking their future into their own hands, literally! 🐟✨
They are currently digging and building a brand-new fish pond from scratch. They have the land, the strength, and the drive to build sustainable food security for our community.
To bring this project across the finish line, they just need two key materials:
🔹 A durable pond liner
🔹 A protective net to keep fingerlings safe from eagles
Once complete, this single pond will provide vital protein and sustainable income for 30 elders and 5 children.

1. "Love in the Last Plate"
In Nyanza, grandparents are feeding their grandchildren with the little they have. They give everything, even when they have nothing. Help us build them a Safe House.
2. "Poverty should not be their legacy"
This grandmother shares her meal with her grandchildren in Kisii. At Gesabakwa Elderly Care Initiative, we believe elders deserve dignity and support.

3. "She feeds them, who will feed her?"
Many elders are raising children in poverty with no help. We are building the first Elderly Safe House in Kisii to care for them.
