This embedment, a great cost-effective approach into meaningful engagement of AGYW to Primary Health Care Networks, Kilifi County can:

Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response must be our priority One Race, One Goal for successful sustainable Ending of AIDS among Adolescents and Young People in Kenya and the world. Today, we and our partners stand united with adolescents and young people in all their diversity, especially adolescent girls and young women, young people with disabilities, and every voice in our communities.
At Rising Winners Youth Empowerment Initiative, we believe that overcoming disruptions and transforming the AIDS response is not just a global call; it is a community-driven responsibility.
We call for intentional, ethical, and meaningful engagement of young people in shaping solutions.
We demand increased public budget allocations and full policy implementation to ensure no adolescent or young person is left behind.
We affirm that ending AIDS is possible when communities own the proactive resilience against disruptions, response, drive change, and prioritize adolescent-young people-centered action.
Together, we are One Race, One Goal; a generation determined to achieve a sustainable end to AIDS in the World. We, the this day from Godoma Technical Training College in Ganze Sub county, call on everyone to be a champion and a resource for the implementation and realization of the 2025 theme: “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls.” This is not just a campaign; it is a collective responsibility.

· Young people must rise as defenders of dignity and equality in both physical and digital spaces.
· Families must nurture respect and safety, ensuring homes and online platforms are free from harm.
· Villages, wards, and sub-counties must unite to dismantle harmful norms and build inclusive communities for healthy and safe norms and values to diffuse into the offline and online spaces.
· Kilifi County, Kenya, and the world must invest in sustainable actions that protect women, girls, and vulnerable groups from digital and offline violence.

The theme reminds us that justice in the digital age is justice for humanity. Success will only come when each of us contributes; through awareness, through action, through accountability, and through solidarity. We the Rising Winners Youth Empowerment Initiative join the world in launching the 16 Days of Gender Activism 2025 under the global theme: “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls” from GODOMA, Ganze Sub County in Kilifi County.
This theme calls us to recognize that violence is no longer confined to physical spaces; it has invaded our digital lives. Online harassment, cyberbullying, exploitation, and harmful misinformation threaten the dignity, safety, and empowerment of women and girls everywhere.
We therefore call upon:
• Every young person to stand as a champion of equality and justice, both offline and online.
• Every family to nurture respect, dignity, and safety within their homes and digital spaces.
• Every village and every ward to unite in breaking harmful norms and building inclusive communities that protect women and girls from digital abuse.
• Every sub-county and the entire County of Kilifi to invest in sustainable actions that safeguard vulnerable groups and promote responsible digital citizenship.
• Kenya and the world to take this year’s theme seriously, commit resources, and ensure that activism translates into lasting change in both physical and virtual spaces.
This year’s theme reminds us that gender justice is not a slogan; it is an investment in humanity’s future. Success will only come when each of us contributes: through awareness, through action, through accountability, and through solidarity.

Today, we concluded our transformative training with a shared commitment to amplify our voices for gender equality and justice in Kilifi County.
Our champions drawn from Kaloleni, Kilifi South, and Rabai sub-counties have pledged to take bold, strategic action to challenge harmful gender norms and empower Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) to confidently assert their autonomy and rights.
We recognized and celebrated the judiciary’s critical role in championing AGYW rights and addressing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). Champions are now equipped with tools to support AGYW in navigating justice pathways and advocating for the safety, dignity, and empowerment of survivors.
We reaffirmed that engaging key influencers such as parents, teachers, and religious leaders is essential. Champions will build bridges of understanding and collaboration to foster supportive environments for AGYW.
From village forums to youth-led campaigns, champions will design and implement community-specific interventions that resonate with local realities and drive meaningful change.
To ensure transparency and impact, champions will introduce feedback loops and community scorecards, ensuring every voice is heard and every action is accountable.
Together, we are shaping a community where AGYW thrive, lead, and live free from violence and discrimination. The journey continues with courage, unity, and purpose.
