In some rural communities, as few as 19% of girls are enrolled in primary school, reflecting the barriers created by poverty and limited access to education.

Our girls’ empowerment initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and menstrual health resources help break down barriers to education, empowering girls to reach their full potential. At TKP, we’re working to create a more equitable learning environment where girls have the resources to succeed. ✨

💛 As part of our collaborative learning model, we strive to create an inclusive environment that recognizes and supports each student's individual needs. By combining independent work with team, group-based activities, we give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace, build confidence, and excel in the ways that work best for them.

We also integrate innovative technology, science-based curriculum, and enrichment activities to enhance learning and adapt alongside our students as they grow. 🫶

🏡 Have you seen our new teacher housing? 👀

A long commute shouldn’t stand in the way of great teaching! At TKP, we’re always looking for ways to better support the dedicated educators who make such a difference in our students’ lives. When we invest in our teachers, that support extends into the classroom and creates a stronger foundation for our young learners.

That’s why we’re SO excited to offer on-site housing for up to 25 people (our hardworking teachers and their families)! By living closer to campus, teachers can spend less time commuting and more time focusing on what matters most! 💚

🎉 Now that our 2026 Back-to-School Challenge has wrapped up, we want to give a HUGE Asante Sana to all of our incredible donors! Your generosity is changing the lives for thousands of students by providing and expanding access to books, science labs, field trips, enrichment programs, and more. 📚

🏠 A home away from home for our teachers!

We’re excited to share one of our newest projects: teacher housing at Oloilalei! These new homes provide a safe, comfortable place for teachers to live, eliminating the long travel that many would otherwise face getting to and from work.

Each housing unit is designed with families in mind, offering private living spaces along with kitchens and appliances, showers, bedrooms, and a shared courtyard.

We’re proud to support our teachers not only in the classroom, but in the many ways that help them thrive in their personal lives as well. 💛

📚 A quality education starts with a healthy, supported student. This means that access to nutritious food, clean water, proper sanitation, and healthcare all play an important role in a child’s ability to succeed. When students come to class hungry or become sick because of inadequate sanitation or limited healthcare, their education can be significantly impacted.

Through TKP, students have access to:
🩺 Annual health screenings and primary care
💉 Vaccinations
💦 Clean water
🧼 Improved sanitation
🥙 Daily nutritious meals

It takes a global village to help children thrive, and we’re grateful to everyone who is part of ours. 💛

Fall is off to an amazing start at TKP! 🎉 Thanks to the success of our recent Back-to-School Challenge, students are beginning the new school year with a strong foundation of support and opportunity.

This year, we’ll be expanding our investment in the programs and resources that help students succeed, including additional STEM curriculum opportunities. We'll also be providing access to more enrichment activities, and ensuring students are offered daily nutritious meals and essential healthcare services.
