We have exciting news to share: Art Kids Foundation is now Imagine Tomorrow!

When we first began, our focus was on using the arts as a tool to inspire children and young people in underserved communities. That foundation remains a meaningful part of our story.

But over time, our work has grown beyond artistic expression and creation. We have listened, learned, and expanded to better respond to the evolving needs of young people: from improving access to quality education through scholarships and literacy programs, to opening a community library that offers access to books, digital resources, and mentorship, to partnering with schools to support positive youth development.

Today, we are committed to the holistic development of adolescents and young people through community-based programs that address their educational, social, and emotional needs, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a foundation for a thriving future.

Our new name, Imagine Tomorrow, reflects this vision. It speaks to possibility, hope, and the power every young person has to imagine, and create, a better tomorrow.

While our name has changed, our heart hasnโ€™t. We remain committed to standing with young people and supporting them to reach their full potential and thrive.

Thank you for being part of our journey ๐Ÿ€

We shared a beautiful afternoon at the From Maputo To Kibera - an exhibition in Nairobi by artist and long-time friend Malote Mathe.

Back in 2015, Malote held an exhibition in Nairobi to support our My First Camera project. 10 years later, he used his art once more to put creativity into action in support of our programs in Kibera, reminding us that art can build lasting connections across places and time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Malote for being part of our journey!

For the past two years, our library has been a vital learning space for young people in Kibera.

We provide access to textbooks and juvenile literature, a computer for online research and digital resources, a mentorship program that supports young people in navigating the challenges of adolescence with confidence, and creative programs that spark curiosity and nurture talent.

As one of our main funding cycles comes to an end, weโ€™re turning to our community to help sustain this vital space.

Help us keep our doors open in 2026 and continue giving children and adolescents in Kibera the chance to thrive!
