WE DID IT! 🎶🇰🇪

Today we stand with tears of joy and hearts full of gratitude.

You did not just sing. You sang with PASSION.
You did not just perform. You performed with HOPE.
And today, DREAMS WERE FULFILLED on the National Stage of the 98th Kenya Music Festival!

From the classrooms of Laini Saba to the national stage... God has lifted you!
Every rehearsal, every voice crack, every early morning practice... it was all worth it.

To our pupils: You are champions.
To our teachers and trainers: Thank you for believing.
To our parents and donors: Your support carried these children.

FROM KIBERA TO KIBABII!

Today our Lower Choir stood on the National Stage at the 98th Music Festival in Kibabii University, Bungoma and gave it their all.

To a child in Kibera, this stage means HOPE. To a teacher, it means SACRIFICE.
To a parent, it means DREAMS COMING TRUE.

Asante sana to our dedicated music teachers for believing.
Asante sana to our parents for supporting. And to our amazing children: YOU MADE US PROUD!

This is just the beginning. Ushirika Rising

While our children are on mid term break, teachers had a meeting. This is the team that guides our children, shapes their character, and shows up daily with patience and love. This team does not just educate minds- it nurtures futures And Behind every confident, talented Ushirika child is a teacher here who believed first.
Thank you for guiding AND educating. For correcting with love and pushing with purpose. Ushirika is strong because you are. This teachers guide, mentor, encourage, and educate—often long after the bell rings.

To every teacher who wipes tears, answers “one more question,” and reminds a child “you can”: Thank you for building lives, not just lessons.
We celebrate you today and every day.

The joy on their faces said it all. We’re grateful for your hearts and your time. As we close school for the mid term break you brought hope, laughter, and memories our children will carry for a long time. Thank you for investing joy into their lives, you came with music, moves, and sweets… but you left with our children’s smiles. Thank you for filling Ushirika School with joy.
