WORLD AIDS DAY December 1st 2025.
theme: - "Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response"
HIV/AIDS was identified in 1981, and by 1988 the world came together for the first World Aids Day. But in 2025, sweeping budget cuts threaten to undo decades of progress.
Nairobi County records the highest number of new HIV infections in Kenya, with the youth aged 15 to 34 due to People Who Inject Drugs (PWID) unsafe usage of drug addiction.

Glad to have Steve and Cayle who support us with books on HARM REDUCTION and BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE COMMUNICATION.
The program is to guide and help, receive treatment to overcome Drug addiction and stay drug-free.

12th AUG 2025 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY - a day when the world acknowledges the vital role that Young people play as agents of change, leaders and mobilisers in promoting development.
On this day RADAC played a vital role in NAIROBI INTERNATIONAL CUP 2025 TOURNAMENT in highlighting and motivating youths about the effects of Drugs and Substance Abuse.

on this INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUGS ABUSE, Radac was in New Horizons Sec. School for a PREVENTION PROGRAM.
Education is a powerful weapon in this prevention process, each school, each community,, each home has a vital role to play in helping students and young people remain DRUG FREE.
The best way to convey the truth about drugs to learners and students is through the words of "Those Who Have Been There"

A needle and syringe programme (NSP), also known as needle exchange program (NEP), It is based on Harm Reduction that attempts to reduce the risk factors for blood-borne diseases such as HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.
Thanks to Mr. Steve from the USA for visiting our office to observe and check the progress of NSP program in Kibra.

RADAC, NUBIAN RIGHTS FORUM, ANGAZA FOUNDATION and NIMRAJ AND ACHA ADVOCATES came together and mobilized our community for free Legal Aid on matters;

*Human Rights Violation
*Civil law & Criminal law

Glad to meet Hong Kong Metropolitan University students and University Of Tokyo Japan on a bench marking to study about Harm Reduction.
Harm reduction is offered to people on a voluntary basis. Social workers and other health professionals do not judge people or discriminate against them because of their Drug Substance use. Rather, they offer a variety of options to help people reduce the risks associated with use.

On 1 December RADAC joins KGSA, FARAJA Cancer Support Trust, Alive and Kicking, Russia Football Mum, TACKLE - Sexual Health Through Football, partners and communities to commemorate World AIDS Day 2024 under the theme “Take the rights path: My health, my right!”.
