The U.S. State Department has proposed changes to the Medical Examination for Visa or Immigrant Benefit that would be deeply invasive and harmful to LGBTQI+ people, and in particular, trans immigrants and refugees.

Rainbow Railroad submitted this comment in partnership with Advocates for Trans Equality, Council for Global Equality, Immigration Equality, and 116 other immigration and human rights organizations. We strongly oppose this proposal.
